Final Board-Approved Voting District Map Sent to County Elections Office

2026 Outlook

In March, 2022 the Goleta Sanitary District Board of Directors approved a final map for our transition from large elections to district elections. The Board has approved the following map of electoral districts and has established the sequence for elections. This final map meets the criteria for creating district-based elections and will be used in the November 2026 election cycle. Voters in individual divisions 9districts) that have seats for elections, Voting Districts 2 and 3 (as shown below), will be able to vote for representatives living in those districts. The other three divisions will have representatives for the November 2028 elections.
